JMtet: A Piano and Double-bass Duo Exploring the Unspoken
JMtet is a free improvisation duo featuring pianist Joseph Martin and double bassist Jeremy Marozeau, created in 2023. They delve into the spaces between the unspoken and the familiar, blending intimate and challenging musical conversations. Joseph Martin, a self-taught pianist with a background in classical, blues, and jazz guitar, is also a painter and photographer. Jeremy Marozeau, an accomplished double bassist with international jazz club experience, also works as a scientist aiding the hearing-impaired in experiencing music. Their goal is to play in venues, sharing their unique musical explorations with live audiences.
