Résonance Nocturne

Résonance Nocturne at the Museum of Art and History of Geneva featured three audio-tactile loungers designed by Master's students in Acoustic Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark.

Broad-frequency-response shakers transmitted low-frequency vibration through the loungers, while additional contact points stimulated the back, legs, hands and forearms.

Composers were invited for residencies to create music specifically for the installation, culminating in monthly concerts. The project explored how the body can become an additional listening surface.
